Securities lending policy – BNP Paribas Easy
What is securities lending?
Securities lending involves a contract under which a lender temporarily transfers a given number of securities to a borrower and the borrower commits to return the securities either at a predefined date or at the request of the lender. The borrower pays the lender a remuneration based on the value of the securities lent. The value is calculated in basis points and depends in particular on the volume of the transaction and the speculative nature of the securities.
Since the mechanism involves additional risks for holders of our funds, we do not engage in securities lending/borrowing across our range of ETFs and BNP Paribas Easy index funds.
